BI2-EG08-AN6X/S100 Description
Turck BI2-EG08-AN6X/S100 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), offering an IP67 degree of protection. It has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +100°C, and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA with no load, and it has a sensing distance of 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and it operates in NO (Normally Open) mode.
