BI1U-EH04-AP6X Description
Turck BI1U-EH04-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor/switch from the BI...-EH04 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing, a PA12 (Polyamide) sensing face, a PA12 (Polyamide) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor has a 4mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox) shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz and has an ambient air temperature range for operation between -25°C and +70°C. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 100mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 20mA and a sensing distance of 1mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated for a current of 100mA / 0.1 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
