Turck BI10-G28-Y1 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-G28 series. This ATEX compliant, embeddable special version is designed without an LED indicator and features a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, a TROGAMID end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a Pg12 fully threaded barrel shape, offers a degree of protection of IP67, and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BI10-G28-Y1 has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz, one digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR), a sensing distance of 10mm, and a thread size of Pg 21.
