Turck BI15-CP40-FDZ30X2/S10-S97 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-CP40 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates on a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (with nominal voltages of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (with nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, 250Vdc). The sensor features a PBT-GF30-V0 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) housing and sensing face, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm (Combiprox) with a terminal chamber, and it offers a degree of protection of IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and is compatible with network frequencies of 50-60 Hz. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -40°C and +70°C. This sensor provides 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire power MOSFET output; 400mA max.), with a sensing distance of 15mm. It includes protection functions such as output short-circuit and overload protection (Latched SCP), and it supports a control circuit rated current of 300-400mA / 0.3-0.4 A. The operating mode can be programmed as NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed).
