Turck BI1.5-EG08K-Y1X-H1341 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series. This ATEX compliant, short barrel embeddable sensor operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It features a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing and a PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. The sensor is pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. Its shape is an M8 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox), offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor operates at a frequency of up to 5kHz or 5000Hz maximum switching frequency, with an ambient air temperature range for operation between -25°C and +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has a sensing distance of 1.5mm, with a thread size of M8.
