BI0.8-Q5SE-AP6X Description
Turck BI0.8-Q5SE-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor/switch that falls under the BI...-Q5 series. It features an extended barrel embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The housing is made of anodized aluminum, with a POM (Polyoxymethylene) sensing face and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. This sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a 5mm thick extended rectangular body shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The maximum switching frequency is 3kHz / 3000Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 100mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 0.8mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
