BC20-K40SR-VN4X2 Description
Turck BC20-K40SR-VN4X2 is a capacitive proximity sensor/switch that falls under the BC...-K40 series. This embeddable sensor is designed with an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) housing and sensing face, ensuring durability. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block and an M16x1.5 entry for connections. Its shape is a 40mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel with a terminal chamber, offering an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. The sensor can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz. It provides one digital output (10-65Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 20mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, with operating modes that include NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
