BC10-QF5.5-RP6X2/S250 Description

Turck BC10-QF5.5-RP6X2/S250 is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-QF5.5 series, featuring a Qpak housing for top-sensing in an embeddable design. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a PP (Polypropylene) housing and sensing face, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m (approximately 6.5ft) PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor has a rectangular body with a thickness of 5.5mm and offers an IP67 degree of protection. It supports a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor features a single digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 10mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. The operating mode of the sensor is NC (Normally Closed).
