BC10-Q14-AP4X2 Description
Turck BC10-Q14-AP4X2 is a capacitive proximity sensor/switch that belongs to the BC...-Q14 series. This part features a Qpak housing top-sensing embeddable design and operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. It is constructed from PBT-GF30-V0, a glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, for both the housing and sensing face, and includes a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads and is designed with a 14mm thick rectangular body. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BC10-Q14-AP4X2 has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and features one digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 10mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
