VSM-2S4APD100-Q3 Description
Banner Engineering VSM-2S4APD100-Q3 is a photo-electric sensor with a stainless steel housing, P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics, and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65°C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features a single digital output (PNP transistor / IO-Link; 100mA) with a response time of 500µs in normal mode, which can be adjusted to fine or fast mode via IO-Link. It utilizes IO-Link communication protocol and is connected via a pre-wired 6" / 15cm PUR cable terminated with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector. The sensor has a 4mm diameter, cylindrical smooth shape, and emits a visible red light at a wavelength of 630 nm. Designed for diffuse mode operation, it has a sensing distance of 0 to 100mm and is powered by a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). This sensor is part of the VSM-2 series.
