VS8EAPAF70 Description
Banner Engineering VS8EAPAF70 is a photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing and a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, featuring a polyurethane (PUR) cable for connectivity. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C. This sensor operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes and includes a single digital output (PNP transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, and is designed in a rectangular shape. The VS8EAPAF70 emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). It features a background suppression system with TEACH mode for enhanced functionality and offers a sensing distance of 5...70mm. This adjustable-field photo-electric sensor is part of the VS8 series.
