VSM-2M5APD10-Q7 Description
Banner Engineering VSM-2M5APD10-Q7 is a photo-electric sensor with a stainless steel housing and P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features a single digital output (PNP transistor / IO-Link; 100mA). It has a response time of 500µs in normal mode, with finer and faster modes accessible via IO-Link. The VSM-2M5APD10-Q7 uses the IO-Link communication protocol and is pre-equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style QD M8 connector. It has an M5 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, operates at a wavelength of 630 nm with visible red light, and is designed for diffuse mode with a sensing distance of 0 to 10mm. The supply voltage required is 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal. This sensor is part of the VSM-2 series.
