VS8EAPLP Description
Banner Engineering VS8EAPLP is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing and a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It features a polyurethane (PUR) cable for connectivity. This sensor offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C. It operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. The VS8EAPLP is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, has a rectangular shape, and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. The sensing distance of this sensor ranges from 10cm to 1.6m. It is part of the VS8 series.
