VS8EAPLLPQ Description

Banner Engineering VS8EAPLLPQ is a polarized Class 1 laser photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing and a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It features a polyurethane (PUR) cable and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +50 °C and offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It is equipped with a single digital output (PNP transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. The VS8EAPLLPQ comes pre-wired with a 7.5" / 20cm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy installation. Its rectangular shape is designed for retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. The sensor operates at a wavelength of 655 nm, emitting visible red light, and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). It is capable of sensing distances ranging from 10cm to 2m and is part of the VS8 series.
