VS8EANR Description
Banner Engineering VS8EANR is a photo-electric sensor characterized by its thermoplastic housing and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, with a polyurethane (PUR) cable. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60 degrees Celsius. This sensor operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes and features a single digital output (NPN transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.5ms. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 650 nm, emitting visible red light. It is designed for a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The VS8EANR, part of the VS8 series, is a through-beam system or opposed mode TEACH mode sensor with a sensing distance of 3m, functioning as a photo-electric sensor (receiver alone).
