Banner Engineering T18-2VPRS-Q8 is a photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment for precise control. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, is housed in a durable thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-equipped 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for straightforward installation. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It boasts a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring resilience in various environmental conditions. The T18-2VPRS-Q8 has a cylindrical M18 threaded/barrel shape for easy mounting, and it offers a digital output through a PNP transistor that is complementary. It is capable of detecting objects up to 25 meters away with a visible red light and responds swiftly with a response time of 1.5ms. Additionally, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, accommodating diverse application needs. The thread size for this sensor is M18.
