T18-2VPLPC-2M Description
Banner Engineering T18-2VPLPC-2M is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for range setting. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, and IP69K, as well as NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The T18-2VPLPC-2M provides one digital output (PNP transistor; complementary) and has a sensing distance of up to 6 meters. It emits visible red light and features a fast response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON, with an M18 thread size for mounting.
