T18-2VPDS-9M Description
Banner Engineering T18-2VPDS-9M is a photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed with a diffuse mode short range and potentiometer adjustment for precise sensing capabilities. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The T18-2VPDS-9M offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape allows for versatile mounting options. The sensor provides one digital output (PNP transistor; complementary), has a sensing distance of up to 300mm, and uses visible red light for detection. With a fast response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, and is equipped with an M18 thread size for standard compatibility.
