T18-2VNRS-2M Description
Banner Engineering T18-2VNRS-2M is a photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode pot range potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, is encased in a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P. The T18-2VNRS-2M has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary), and provides a sensing distance of up to 25m. It emits visible red light and has a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON. The thread size for this sensor is M18.
