Banner Engineering T18-2VNLPC-Q8 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for precise control. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens, ensuring durability and clear signal transmission. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy integration into various systems. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It boasts a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, and IP69K, alongside NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. The T18-2VNLPC-Q8 has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape for straightforward mounting and offers a sensing distance of up to 6 meters. It emits visible red light for detection and has a quick response time of 1.5ms. Additionally, it features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary) and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, with a thread size of M18.
