T18-2VNDL-2M Description
Banner Engineering T18-2VNDL-2M is a photo-electric sensor from the T18-2 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment for precise sensing control. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability and clarity. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The T18-2VNDL-2M offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP68, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape allows for versatile mounting options. The sensor provides one digital output (NPN transistor; complementary), has a sensing distance of up to 750mm, and features a visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm for easy alignment. The response time is quick at 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, ensuring timely detection for automation applications.
