T18-2RPRS-Q8 Description
Banner Engineering T18-2RPRS-Q8 is a photo-electric sensor designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment, falling within the T18-2 series. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-equipped 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for its connection type. The sensor operates on a supply voltage ranging from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, and IP69K, alongside NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. The T18-2RPRS-Q8 has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary), and offers a sensing distance of up to 25m. It utilizes light in both infrared (IR) and visible red spectrums, with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, operating in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The wavelength of the visible red light is 624 nm, and it features an M18 thread size for mounting.
