SME312LVQD Description
Banner Engineering SME312LVQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode functionality. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The SME312LVQD operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. The SME312LVQD has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and provides a sensing distance of up to 5m. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and boasts a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
