SME312CVWQD Description

Banner Engineering SME312CVWQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a convergent mode TEACH mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation. The SME312CVWQD can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions. The sensor has a rectangular shape and offers one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is capable of sensing at a distance of 16mm with a visible white light color. The response time of the sensor is 0.5ms / 0.0005 s, and it operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, with a wavelength range of 450-650 nm.
