Banner Engineering SME312FPQD is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SME312 Expert series. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with plastic fiber optics and is designed with TEACH mode for versatile application. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy integration. The SME312FPQD operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm.
