SME312LPC Description

Banner Engineering SME312LPC is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH mode "C" modulation frequency. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SME312LPC can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and it has a sensing distance of 1m. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and has a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
