SME312LPCQDP Description
Banner Engineering SME312LPCQDP is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with TEACH functionality. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The supply voltage requirement is 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is equipped for mounting via an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -20 and +70°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. It has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). The sensing distance is up to 1m, with a visible red light color and a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. The operating mode can be set to Light-ON or Dark-ON, and it operates at a wavelength of 650 nm.
