SME312FVW Description
Banner Engineering SME312FVW is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SME312 Expert series. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with glass fiber and is designed with TEACH mode for versatile application. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The SME312FVW operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, ensuring durability in various environments. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and provides a visible white light with a wavelength range of 450-650 nm. It features a fast response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes for flexible application in detecting presence or absence of objects.
