SME312FVGQD Description
Banner Engineering SME312FVGQD is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SME312 Expert series. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with glass fiber and is designed with TEACH mode for versatile application. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy integration. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SME312FVGQD offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions. It has a rectangular shape and provides one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). The sensor emits visible green light with a wavelength of 525 nm and boasts a quick response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
