SME312FPW Description
Banner Engineering SME312FPW is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SME312 Expert series. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with plastic fiber optics and is designed with TEACH mode for versatile application. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The SME312FPW operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape is equipped with 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and it operates with visible white light within a wavelength range of 450-650 nm. The SME312FPW features a quick response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
