SME312FPB Description
Banner Engineering SME312FPB is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor from the SME312 Expert series. This sensor features a TEACH mode design and is constructed with a thermoplastic housing and plastic fiber optics. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The SME312FPB operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. The rectangular-shaped sensor provides 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), operates with a visible blue light at a wavelength of 475 nm, and features a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
