SME312DQDP-68910 Description
Banner Engineering SME312DQDP-68910 is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a diffuse mode and equipped with white/blue/brown wire TEACH mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connectivity. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The sensor offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and can sense objects up to a distance of 380mm. The sensor operates with infrared (IR) light, having a wavelength of 880 nm, and features a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
