SME312CVG Description

Banner Engineering SME312CVG is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a convergent mode TEACH mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SME312CVG offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a sensing distance of 16mm. The sensor emits visible green light with a wavelength of 525 nm and boasts a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
