SM2A312W Description
Banner Engineering SM2A312W is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series featuring a divergent diffuse system with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens and is designed for a rectangular shape. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. The SM2A312W operates on a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. The sensor features a single digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), has a sensing distance of 130mm, and uses infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm.
