Banner Engineering SM2A31RLQD is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, part of the SM2A312 series, functions as a receiver alone and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity and operates on a supply voltage ranging from 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac and 220Vac. The SM2A31RLQD features an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) for signaling.
