SM2A30PRLNCB Description
Banner Engineering SM2A30PRLNCB is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, specifically within the SM30 series. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, featuring a thermoplastic housing and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac / 220Vac. The sensor is capable of operating within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 6P, and IP69K, making it suitable for washdown environments. Its design includes an M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, and it provides one digital output (Solid-state AC output). The sensing distance of the sensor is up to 150m, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and a response time of 10ms / 0.01 s. It operates in Dark-ON mode and features "B" modulation frequency for reliable operation in various conditions.
