Banner Engineering SLM80B6QPMA is a photo-electric rugged metal slot/optical fork sensor within the SLM series, featuring potentiometer adjustment for precise control. It is constructed with a nickel-plated die-cast Zinc housing and an Acrylic lens, with a Polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath for enhanced durability. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring easy and secure connection. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. The SLM80B6QPMA offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating, making it suitable for challenging environments. Its slot (U-shaped) design has a passageway width of 80 mm and a height of 80 mm, with a net depth of 12 mm. This sensor features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), an 80mm sensing distance, and a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
