Banner Engineering SLM120N6QPMA is a photo-electric rugged metal slot/optical fork sensor within the SLM series, featuring potentiometer adjustment for precise control. It is constructed from nickel-plated die-cast zinc housing with an acrylic lens and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath, ensuring durability. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. The SLM120N6QPMA offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. Its slot (U-shaped) design has a passageway width of 120 mm and a height of 140 mm, with a net depth of 12 mm. The sensor features a single digital output (NPN transistor), a sensing distance of 120mm, and a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes for versatile application use.
