SLM80B6Q Description
Banner Engineering SLM80B6Q is a photo-electric rugged metal slot/optical fork sensor within the SLM series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment design. This sensor is housed in nickel-plated die-cast zinc with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. The SLM80B6Q offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various environments. Its slot (U-shaped) shape has a passageway width of 80 mm and a net width of 112 mm, with a net height of 80 mm and a net depth of 12 mm. This sensor features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), a sensing distance of 80mm, and a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
