Banner Engineering SLM50P6Q is a photo-electric rugged metal slot/optical fork sensor within the SLM series, featuring potentiometer adjustment for precise control. This sensor is constructed from nickel-plated die-cast zinc housing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector for easy integration. Designed to operate on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, it can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. The SLM50P6Q offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. Its slot (U-shaped) design has a passageway width of 50 mm and an overall width of 82 mm, with a height of 80 mm and a depth of 12 mm. This sensor features a single digital output (PNP transistor), a sensing distance of 50mm, and a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
