SLM30B6 W/30 Description
Banner Engineering SLM30B6 W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SLM series, featuring a rugged metal slot/optical fork design with potentiometer adjustment. It is constructed with a nickel-plated die-cast zinc housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. The sensor can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. Its slot-shaped design has a passageway width of 30mm and an overall width of 62mm, with a height of 80mm and a depth of 12mm. The SLM30B6 W/30 provides one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), can sense objects up to 30mm away, and has a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
