SLM20B6 Description
Banner Engineering SLM20B6 is a photo-electric rugged metal slot/optical fork sensor designed for a variety of detection applications. This sensor features a green LED to indicate power ON and a yellow LED to display the output state, along with a potentiometer for adjustment. It is constructed with a nickel-plated die-cast Zinc housing and an Acrylic lens, ensuring durability. The SLM20B6 is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Designed to function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C, it offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 and NEMA 6 rating. The sensor's slot shape has a passageway width of 20 mm and an overall width of 52 mm, with a height of 140 mm and a depth of 12 mm. It features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a quick response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
