SLM180N6Q Description
Banner Engineering SLM180N6Q is a photo-electric rugged metal slot/optical fork sensor from the SLM series, designed with a potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a nickel-plated die-cast Zinc housing with an Acrylic lens. It is pre-equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector for connectivity. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The sensor has a slot (U-shaped) shape, with a net width of 180 mm for the passageway and an overall width of 212 mm, a net height of 140 mm, and a net depth of 12 mm. It includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor), can sense objects up to 180mm away, and has a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON.
