SB12TRNR-16707 Description
Banner Engineering SB12TRNR-16707 is a photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks, belonging to the SB12 series. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with a polycarbonate lens, ensuring durability and clarity. It has a 12mm diameter and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates in bare end flying leads for easy integration into various systems. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted flush in panels up to 3mm thick thanks to its snap-in design. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +50 degrees Celsius and offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 rating, making it suitable for challenging environments. The SB12TRNR-16707 has a cylindrical M12 threaded/barrel shape for straightforward installation and features one digital output (NPN transistor). It utilizes infrared light for detection and operates in a Dark-ON mode, making it ideal for applications where the presence or absence of an object needs to be detected in varying light conditions.
