S12SN6RQDP Description
Banner Engineering S12SN6RQDP is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the S12 series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic body with a polycarbonate lens and a polyurethane end cap. It is equipped with a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The S12SN6RQDP operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. The sensor's shape is an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it features a single digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC). With a sensing distance of 15 meters and a visible red light color, the S12SN6RQDP provides a quick response time of 3ms for turning on and 1.5ms for turning off. It operates with a light wavelength of 680 nm and includes both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, making it versatile for different applications. The thread size for mounting is M12.
