S18SN6D Description
Banner Engineering S18SN6D is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 DC series, designed in a diffuse mode with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc being nominal. The S18SN6D can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC). The sensing distance is 100mm, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. It has a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
