Banner Engineering S18SP6R is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the S18 DC series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic with a polycarbonate lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The S18SP6R operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation.
