Our Story
When I was starting up as an engineer,
I was blown away how manual engineering work was.
You start with a clean piece of paper and blank CAD screen, and build the solution piece by piece. Then I spent more time on excel spreadsheets than actually doing engineering. This is where I have decided to change that for myself. I have used Microsoft macros and VB as my base and hacked a solution that allowed me to automate my design, select components, and created a proposal document in MS word, automatically based on pre-defined requirements and project specifications.
What I was missing was the cost.For that I have generated database in MS Access and loaded about 20k parts that I was using.When I sent that to my suppliers to get quote, they told me I was crazy! But I was able to speedup my work by 10x with that hack. Well, here we are 10 years later, and I intend to bring this hack and more to the entire world of engineers.
