Banner Engineering S18AW3FF50Q is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor from the S18 AC series, designed with a background suppression system. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 5-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 20Vac-250Vac (with nominal voltages of 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac), and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The S18AW3FF50Q offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The sensor provides one digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) and has a sensing distance of 50mm. It utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm for detection and operates in Light-ON mode, with a response time of 16ms (0.016 s).
