S18-2VPFF30-Q8 Description
Banner Engineering S18-2VPFF30-Q8 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor within the S18-2 series, featuring a background suppression system. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Designed for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor), and provides a sensing distance of 30mm. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and responds in 1.5ms / 0.0015 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON, and it features an M18 thread size.
